Token Raffle :
1st place $150, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25
A Token board will be set up in the club office
To enter the Token raffle,
- Select your Token number
- Write Token number and owner(s) name on envelope
- Put Token together with payment of $5 into envelope
- Put envelope into Raffle box.
All raffle winners will be notified following the Raffle Draw
Token Raffle at Glen Waverley Golf Club.
How it works
- A pool of 50 Tokens will be available for each Raffle draw.
- Members can purchase a Token at $5, no limit on the amount of Tokens purchased per draw.
- After 50 Tokens have been purchased, Raffle 1 is concluded and the 2nd Raffle starts.
- At monthly “Red Shirt” event day, club draws the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for Raffle that have been concluded.
- Players can choose to use Tokens as side competition against each other.
- Example 1: 2 players in a group of 4 compete against each other, losers in group pay for Token(s). Token(s) for the group will have the 4 players names. If their Token is drawn by the club and wins 1st place, the 4 players will share the $150.
- Example 2: 2 players in a group of 4 compete against each other, losers in group pay for Token(s). Token(s) for the group will have the winning players names. If their Token is drawn by the club and wins 1st place, the 2 players will share the $150.
- Side competition can also be played against other groups of 4 or between individuals, not just within a playing group.
- Example 3: Group A (4 players) choose to compete against Group B(4 players), losers pay for Token(s). Token(s) for the group will have the 4 winning players names. If their Token is drawn by the club and wins 1st place, the 4 players will share the $150.
- Example 4: Player A choose to compete against Player B, loser pays for Token. Token can be purchased with winners name only or joint names. If Token is drawn in Raffle, Prize will be awarded to Token Owner(s).
- Token raffle is opened to all members. As long as Token is purchased and has owner name(s), they will be eligible for the Token draw.
- Example 5: Token can be purchased as a Raffle ticket. If Token is drawn in Raffle, Prize will be awarded to Token winner(s).
