Stan Lee volunteer work acknowledged at Monash awards

Congratulations to Stan Lee who received a Certificate of Acknowledgement in the Active Monash category of the 2023 Sir John Monash Awards.
Stan was nominated by the Glen Waverley Golf Club committee for the regular volunteer work he does around the golf course and for the Club.
For many years Stan cleaned the old Club rooms., particularly before events when other Clubs were attending. Alongside this, he has worked regularly to clear paths, maintain bunkers and generally support the upkeep of our golf course. Very few club members would have any idea of the amount of voluntary work that Stan puts in.
The Monash Council held a cocktail function at the Museum of Australian Photography in Wheelers Hill on October 26th. Stan was accompanied by his wife, Susie, Deb Sal representing the GWGC Committee and Frank Sal who regularly plays golf with Stan.
Again, congratulations and thank you Stan for all of your work.
